A Miniature Pink Christmas House

I love houses - big houses, small houses, beach houses and sweet little Christmas houses. Do you like these two pink houses? I made one to hang on the tree.....

and one will have a light and sit on a shelf.
I love how the light shines from all the windows....

including the second floor dormer.

They are about 4 inches tall at their highest point.
I would like to make a whole town and paint them all in pastel colors. What do you think?

Here is my template that I made. I put a ruler so you can see the scale. I am trying to figure out a better way photograph the plans so you can see it.

I am linking this post to Pink Saturday hosted by Beverly of How Sweet the Sound.
If you like pink, Beverly's blog is the place to visit on Saturdays.

Thanks for visiting and have a wonderful Pink Saturday.

Oh look, there is a light on, someone is home just waiting for me to stop on by. I love these little houses. You have done a phenomenal job with them.

I love the little shutter like windows. So welcoming for the holidays.

Have a beautiful Pink Saturday Sweetie. Many hugs and much love, Sherry

HEY, you're back! I'm so glad to see a post from you! I think a little pastel town is a great idea, and I like that you're designing them yourself, so they'll be exactly the way you want them. I wish I had the ingenuity to try this, but I'm too lazy so I just buy the paper mache ones and then they look like everyone else's!
Happy Pink Saturday, and I'm glad you're back. You were missed!

This is so sweet! I bought some unfinished houses similar to yours last year at Michaels. Yours are definitely more charming. I would love to see your little village. :)

Carey, I have had such fun looking at all your miniatures. The little red kitchen looks real! These houses you have made look as though they were purchased in a store, they are wonderful! Now this is a crafting challenge for sure! Your blog is just as cute as can be! I am so glad to visit. Have a lovely week ahead! Elizabeth
