A Miniature Baby Nursery

I hope this post makes you smile. I love babies. I love to hold them, smell them, feed them and love them. When my three sons were babies I remember just wanting to hold them. I always new that they grow up so fast. Against family and friends advice I would often take my sons out of their crib when they were sleeping and just hold
them while sitting in my rocking chair. Anyway,
getting back to miniatures, I found this miniature
baby nursery on Ebay a few years ago.

Wouldn't it be fun to have this baby nursery in real life? I would walk by it every day to look at the babies.
This set was made by Marx in the 1950s. I love it so much.

Above is the babies.

As you can see the proportion did not seem important.

I love the baby seat.

The above cabinets are metal and attached. The ones below
are plastic and can be moved.

As you can see the nurse is plastic. She is holding something in her
left hand. I am not sure if it is a diaper or cloth.

I hope I made you smile. It is so good to be blogging again. I am so happy that I will be able
to visit you all again on your blogs. Thanks for all of your well wishes and support.

SO nice to see you posting again!
I love babies too. I'm praying for a grandbaby now so I can start the loving and smelling and watching and holding process all over again.
Hugs,
Kathi

Welcome back Carey! It's good to hear from you again. Yes, that baby nursery is adorable. I recall having pieces to a nursery when I was a child and not too long ago saw some of them on eBay. I don't remember having a tin building, but I distinctly remember the little baby basinettes and recognized them right away. They were different from the ones you showed and were by Renwal. I love going down Memory Lane on eBay. It's so good to see you posting again.
